The Front connector for Muse

Your shared inbox, triaged as a team.

The Front connector brings shared-inbox work into Muse: read the team inbox, reply to conversations, assign teammates, and add tags. Support and ops teams can triage the queue by conversation instead of living in the Front app.

Writes need confirmation — which matters in a shared inbox, where a reply goes out under the team’s name.

Safety notes

  • Replies and assignments confirm first — they’re visible to customers and teammates.
  • Muse only reads inboxes your Front account can access.
  • This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.

How to connect Front

Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Front account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.

Questions

Can Muse auto-reply to common questions?

It can draft replies for your approval. Automatic sending isn’t on the table, every reply gets human eyes first.

Does it handle internal notes?

Muse works with the conversations and tags in your inbox. Keep internal discussions in Front’s own internal-note features.
