LiveThe Google Calendar connector for Muse
Scheduling that checks your actual availability first.
The Google Calendar connector gives Muse a live view of your schedule. It can find open time, check for conflicts before proposing meetings, and brief you on what’s coming — all by asking in plain language.
Pair it with Gmail and Muse can do the full loop: read the email thread proposing a meeting, find a slot that works, and draft the invite for your approval.
What Muse can do with Google Calendar
- Find open time across days or weeks for a given meeting length
- Check for conflicts before you commit to anything
- Brief you on today’s and tomorrow’s schedule on demand
- Draft event invites with attendees, location, and notes for approval
- Cross-reference email threads with calendar events
Try asking
- “Find me a free hour this week for a dentist appointment.”
- “What’s on my calendar tomorrow, and is there anything I should prep for?”
- “Check if I’m free Thursday afternoon and draft an invite to Alex for coffee.”
Safety notes
- Muse won’t create, move, or delete events without your approval.
- Read-only mode is available if you only want schedule lookups.
How to connect Google Calendar
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Google Calendar account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does the Google Calendar connector see all my calendars?
It sees the calendars on the Google account you connect. If you keep work and personal on separate accounts, connect only the one you want Muse to see.
Can Muse reschedule my meetings automatically?
Only with your explicit approval per change. Muse can propose the new time and draft the update, but you confirm before anything moves.
