LiveThe Outlook connector for Muse
Microsoft’s inbox and calendar, same deal as Gmail.
The Outlook connector covers Microsoft 365 mail and calendar the way the Gmail connector covers Google’s. If your work life runs on Outlook, Muse can triage the inbox, summarize threads, draft replies, and manage the calendar by conversation.
It’s the connector that makes Muse viable inside Microsoft-centric workplaces, where half the day lives in Outlook.
What Muse can do with Outlook
- Search and triage Outlook mail with plain-language requests
- Summarize threads and draft replies for approval
- Check calendar availability and draft invites
- Flag follow-ups hiding in long CC chains
Try asking
- “What came in this morning that needs a response before noon?”
- “Summarize the thread with legal about the contract redlines.”
- “Find a 30-minute slot tomorrow for a call with Priya.”
Safety notes
- Sending mail and creating events require explicit approval.
- Scoped to the Microsoft account you connect.
How to connect Outlook
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Outlook account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does the Outlook connector work with personal Outlook.com accounts?
It connects through Microsoft’s standard auth, which covers both Microsoft 365 work accounts and personal Outlook.com accounts.
