LiveThe Vapi connector for Muse
Voice AI assistants and phone calls, managed by asking.
The Vapi connector lets Muse manage your voice AI setup: assistants, phone numbers, and calls. Configure how your AI agent answers, review call activity, and place outbound calls — the phone channel, run from chat.
Teams building voice agents use it to iterate fast: tweak the assistant, test a call, review what happened, all without leaving the conversation.
What Muse can do with Vapi
- Create and configure voice AI assistants
- Manage phone numbers attached to assistants
- Place outbound calls with your confirmation
- Review call logs and transcripts
Try asking
- “Set up a new assistant that answers FAQs about our pricing.”
- “Call this number and confirm tomorrow’s appointment.”
- “Show me today’s call activity and flag any that went badly.”
Safety notes
- Outbound calls always require your explicit confirmation.
- AI calling is regulated in many places — follow local robocall and consent laws.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Vapi
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Vapi account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Do the people being called know it’s an AI?
That’s up to your assistant’s configuration, and in many jurisdictions, disclosure is legally required. Build it into the greeting.
What does calling cost?
Calls bill to your Vapi account by the minute. Check your plan before running outbound campaigns.
