LiveThe Anthropic connector for Muse
Check your API access and models without the dashboard.
The Anthropic connector is a small utility with a clear job: verify your Anthropic API access and list the Claude models available to you. Developers wiring up Claude-powered tools can confirm credentials and model availability by asking instead of clicking through the console.
It is read-only and narrow — a quick health check for your Anthropic setup, not a model playground.
What Muse can do with Anthropic
- Verify that your Anthropic API key is valid and active
- List the Claude models your account can call
- Confirm access tiers before you start building
Try asking
- “Is my Anthropic API key working?”
- “Which Claude models do I have access to?”
- “Check whether my API credentials are still valid.”
Safety notes
- Read-only — it never makes model calls that spend API credits.
- Your API key stays in your own credential store; Muse never sees the raw key.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Anthropic
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Anthropic account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does checking models cost me API credits?
No. The connector only verifies access and lists models, it does not send prompts or generate text.
Who is this connector for?
Developers building on the Anthropic API who want a fast way to confirm credentials and model availability from inside Muse.
