LiveThe Upstash connector for Muse
Redis commands, run from conversation.
The Upstash connector lets Muse run Redis commands against your Upstash database over REST. Check keys, read values, set expirations, inspect queues — your cache and real-time data, queryable in plain language.
Developers use it for quick ops and debugging: "is the session key still there," "how big is that queue," answered without opening a Redis client.
What Muse can do with Upstash
- Run any Redis command against your Upstash database
- Inspect keys, values, TTLs, and data structures
- Check queue lengths and stream contents
- Debug caching issues conversationally
Try asking
- “Does the session key for user 4821 still exist?”
- “How many items are in the email queue right now?”
- “Show me the top 10 keys by memory usage.”
Safety notes
- Write commands change live data — Muse confirms before running them.
- Avoid pasting production secrets into values you ask Muse to set.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Upstash
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Upstash account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Can Muse run Lua scripts or complex commands?
The connector passes Redis commands through, so anything your Upstash database supports is fair game, with confirmation for writes.
Is this safe for production databases?
Reads are safe. Writes are confirmation-gated, but treat production with care regardless. Consider a read replica for routine checks.
