LiveThe Unsplash connector for Muse
Stock photos worth using, found by describing them.
The Unsplash connector lets Muse search Unsplash’s library of free stock photos. Describe the image you need ("moody coffee shop interior, morning light") and get back photos you can actually use.
Creators, writers, and marketers use it to skip the stock-site scroll: the right image for a post, deck, or thumbnail, found in one request.
What Muse can do with Unsplash
- Search millions of free stock photos by description
- Find images by mood, subject, color, or composition
- Pull photographer credits for proper attribution
- Get download-ready URLs for your projects
Try asking
- “Find a hero image for a blog post about remote work, warm and minimal.”
- “I need three photos of espresso being poured for a slide deck.”
- “Find a dark, dramatic landscape for a thumbnail background.”
Safety notes
- Unsplash photos are free to use, but check the license for your specific use case.
- Credit photographers where appropriate — Muse can pull the attribution.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Unsplash
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Unsplash account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Are Unsplash photos really free for commercial use?
Unsplash’s license is very permissive, including commercial use, without permission or attribution required — though crediting photographers is good practice.
Can Muse edit the photos it finds?
The connector searches and returns photos. Editing happens in your design tools, or pair it with an image connector for transformations.
