LiveThe Spotify connector for Muse
Playlists, playback, and discovery by asking.
The Spotify connector lets Muse search the catalog, play audio, save songs, build playlists, and even schedule playback. It’s the difference between opening the app and just saying what you want to hear.
It shines for curation: describe a mood, an activity, or a weirdly specific vibe, and Muse assembles a playlist from your library and the wider catalog.
What Muse can do with Spotify
- Search the full Spotify catalog by track, artist, album, or mood
- Create and name playlists from a plain-language description
- Save songs to your library and queue up playback
- Build playlists around activities, moods, or events
- Surface top tracks and artists from your listening history
Try asking
- “Make me a 90-minute focus playlist, no lyrics, mostly electronic.”
- “Play something like the last song I saved, but more upbeat.”
- “Put together a dinner-party playlist from my liked songs plus some new finds.”
Safety notes
- Playlist creation and library changes confirm with you first.
- Muse can’t change your subscription or account settings.
How to connect Spotify
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Spotify account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Do I need Spotify Premium for the Muse connector?
Playback features follow Spotify’s normal rules — on-demand playback generally needs Premium. Search, playlists, and library features work either way.
Can Muse delete my playlists?
Destructive actions like deleting playlists require your explicit approval, and Muse will always confirm what it’s about to remove.
