LiveThe Tavily connector for Muse
Web research with an answer and the sources, in one call.
The Tavily connector gives Muse fast, sourced web research: one request returns an AI-generated answer plus ranked sources with snippets. It’s the difference between "let me search that" and "here’s the answer, with citations."
Researchers and writers use it to ground claims quickly — every answer arrives with the sources behind it, so you can verify instead of trusting.
What Muse can do with Tavily
- Get AI answers to research questions with cited sources
- Retrieve ranked sources with snippets for any query
- Dig into current events and fast-moving topics
- Verify claims against multiple independent sources
Try asking
- “What’s the latest on the EU’s AI Act enforcement, with sources?”
- “Research the three biggest competitors in the sleep-tracking market.”
- “Is it true that coffee prices hit a record high this year? Cite sources.”
Safety notes
- Read-only — Muse searches and reads, never publishes.
- AI answers summarize sources; verify critical claims against the originals.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Tavily
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Tavily account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
How is this different from Muse’s built-in web search?
Tavily is a dedicated research API tuned for AI agents, it returns structured answers with ranked, snippet-backed sources in a single call, rather than raw search results.
Does it cost anything to use?
Searches run against your Tavily API plan. Check your usage tier before heavy research sessions.
