LiveThe SmartThings connector for Muse
Every Samsung smart device, commandable by asking.
The SmartThings connector lets Muse read device status and issue commands across your Samsung SmartThings setup: switches, locks, thermostats, garage doors, and shades. Your whole house becomes something you can question and command.
Commands that change the physical world are confirmation-gated, so "lock up for the night" is a quick yes rather than a leap of faith — and a status check is always just a question away.
What Muse can do with SmartThings
- Read live status of all connected devices
- Control switches, dimmers, and outlets
- Lock and unlock smart locks, open and close garage doors
- Adjust thermostats and set shade positions
Try asking
- “Are all the doors locked and the garage closed?”
- “Set the thermostat to 72 and dim the living room lights.”
- “Which devices are offline right now?”
Safety notes
- Commands affecting locks, doors, and climate are confirmation-gated.
- A failed command reports what didn’t happen — verify critical states in the SmartThings app.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect SmartThings
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your SmartThings account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does it work with non-Samsung devices in SmartThings?
Yes, anything paired to your SmartThings hub or account shows up, regardless of brand.
Can Muse run my SmartThings routines?
The connector reads status and issues device commands. Complex routines and automations are best managed in the SmartThings app itself.
