LiveThe Aqara connector for Muse
Your whole Aqara home, run by asking.
The Aqara connector links Muse to your smart home through the Aqara Open Cloud API: plugs, wall switches, lights with brightness and color temperature, air conditioners, supported locks, curtain motors, and saved scenes — organized by your homes and rooms.
Because commands drive real physical hardware, every write is confirmation-gated. Asking "turn off the bedroom lights" shows you exactly what will happen before anything clicks.
What Muse can do with Aqara
- Read device attributes: state, brightness, temperature, lock status
- Send control commands to plugs, switches, lights, AC, locks, and curtains
- Trigger saved scenes across rooms
- Check which devices are online or need attention
Try asking
- “Turn off all the lights downstairs and lock the front door.”
- “Set the bedroom AC to 72 and close the curtains.”
- “Which of my Aqara devices are offline right now?”
Safety notes
- Every command that changes hardware state asks for confirmation first.
- Zigbee devices need their Aqara hub online to respond.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Aqara
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Aqara account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
What happens if a device doesn’t respond?
Muse reports which device failed and why, usually a hub connectivity issue — rather than silently skipping it.
Can Muse unlock my door without asking?
No. Lock and unlock commands are always confirmation-gated, and you can exclude locks from voice-style control entirely.
