LiveThe Restream connector for Muse
Multistreaming control, minus the dashboard.
The Restream connector lets Muse manage your multistreaming setup: streaming destinations, channel titles and metadata, and stream key retrieval. Going live across platforms becomes a checklist Muse runs through with you.
Streamers use it for the pre-show routine (update the title everywhere, verify destinations are connected, grab the stream key) without clicking through settings mid-countdown.
What Muse can do with Restream
- List and manage streaming destinations
- Update channel titles and stream metadata
- Retrieve stream keys for your broadcasting software
- Verify which destinations are ready before going live
Try asking
- “Set my stream title to "Building the new feature live" on all destinations.”
- “Which of my Restream destinations are connected right now?”
- “Get my stream key. I’m setting up OBS on a new machine.”
Safety notes
- Stream keys are sensitive — treat them like passwords and don’t share them.
- Metadata changes go live immediately; double-check titles before confirming.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Restream
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Restream account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Can Muse start my stream for me?
The connector manages destinations, metadata, and keys. Actually going live still happens in your broadcasting software like OBS.
Does it work with all my connected platforms?
It works with whatever destinations you’ve linked in Restream — YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn, and the rest.
