LiveThe Readwise connector for Muse
Everything you’ve highlighted, searchable by asking.
The Readwise connector turns your reading highlights into a personal knowledge base Muse can search. Ask what you highlighted about a topic, pull quotes from a specific book, or resurface ideas you saved months ago — your second brain, queryable.
Writers and researchers get the most from it: instead of remembering which book had that perfect line, ask Muse to find it across every highlight you’ve ever saved.
What Muse can do with Readwise
- Search all highlights by keyword, topic, or theme
- Pull highlights from a specific book or article
- Save new highlights directly to Readwise
- Resurface forgotten notes on a schedule you set
Try asking
- “What did I highlight about pricing strategy across all my books?”
- “Pull every highlight I saved from that book on negotiation.”
- “Save this quote to Readwise under my business books.”
Safety notes
- Muse only reads and saves highlights — it can’t delete your library.
- Saved highlights sync to your Readwise account like any other save.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Readwise
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Readwise account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does it search my Kindle highlights too?
If your Kindle highlights sync into Readwise, yes. Muse searches everything Readwise holds, regardless of where it was highlighted.
Can Muse organize my highlights into topics?
It can group and summarize what it finds, but the underlying library stays as-is in Readwise. Think of Muse as the search layer, not the organizer.
