LiveThe Railway connector for Muse
Deployments and projects, checked without the dashboard.
The Railway connector brings your Railway projects into conversation. Muse can list projects and deployments, check what’s live, set environment variables, and trigger redeploys — hosting ops handled by asking.
It’s a natural fit for small teams shipping fast: "did the last deploy go out, and what changed" becomes a quick question instead of a dashboard dive.
What Muse can do with Railway
- List projects and inspect recent deployments
- Check deployment status and which commit is live
- Set or update environment variables
- Trigger redeploys of any service
Try asking
- “What’s the latest deployment on the API project, and did it succeed?”
- “Set the STRIPE_KEY variable on staging to the new value.”
- “Redeploy the frontend service now.”
Safety notes
- Redeploys and variable changes affect live services — Muse confirms before acting.
- Muse only sees projects your Railway token can access.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Railway
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Railway account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Can Muse roll back a bad deployment?
It can trigger a redeploy of a previous state, but true rollbacks depend on Railway’s deployment history. Confirm which deployment you want live before Muse acts.
Will it expose my environment variables?
Muse can read and set variables as part of your request. Avoid pasting secrets into chat unnecessarily, set them once and let the connector handle the rest.
