LiveThe Rachio connector for Muse
Smart irrigation you can command by voice.
The Rachio connector lets Muse control your smart sprinkler system. Check which zones are running, start watering a specific zone, or hit the emergency shutoff — irrigation handled conversationally instead of through the app.
It’s genuinely useful in the moment: you’re looking at a dry patch of lawn, you ask Muse to run that zone for ten minutes, and it’s done.
What Muse can do with Rachio
- Check which zones are currently running
- Start watering any zone for a set duration
- Trigger emergency shutoff to stop all watering
- Review zone schedules and watering history
Try asking
- “Is the front yard zone running right now?”
- “Water the garden beds for 15 minutes.”
- “Shut off all watering immediately — it just started raining.”
Safety notes
- Watering commands drive real hardware. Muse confirms the zone and duration first.
- Emergency shutoff is available anytime; use it if schedules misbehave.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Rachio
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Rachio account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Can Muse change my watering schedules?
The connector focuses on status checks, manual runs, and shutoff. Permanent schedule changes are best made in the Rachio app.
What happens if a command fails halfway?
Muse reports what Rachio confirmed and what didn’t. When in doubt, use the emergency shutoff and verify in the Rachio app.
