The PlayHT connector for Muse

Voiceovers and narration, generated on request.

The PlayHT connector gives Muse access to AI voice generation. It can browse a library of stock voices, create instant voice clones from a short sample, and turn any text into spoken audio — so a script, article, or announcement becomes narration in minutes.

It’s built for creators who publish in audio: podcast intros, video voiceovers, product demos, and accessibility narration for written content. Describe the voice you want or clone your own, and Muse handles the generation.

How to connect PlayHT

Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your PlayHT account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.

Questions

Do I need a PlayHT account to use this connector?

Yes. The connector calls the PlayHT API with your credentials, so usage and any costs follow your PlayHT plan.

Can Muse clone anyone’s voice from a recording?

Technically the API allows cloning from a sample, but you should only clone voices you own or have clear rights to. Misusing voice cloning can violate PlayHT’s terms and applicable law.
