LiveThe OpenAI connector for Muse
Check your OpenAI access without the dashboard.
The OpenAI connector checks your API access and lists your available models — read-only. It’s the five-second answer to "is my key working" and "what can I call."
No completions run through this connector. It’s status and inventory, not a chat endpoint.
What Muse can do with OpenAI
- Verify API key and access status
- List available models on your account
- Check usage and rate-limit info
- Compare model capabilities at a glance
Try asking
- “Is my OpenAI API key working?”
- “Which models can I access?”
- “What’s my current usage?”
Safety notes
- Read-only status checks — no completions, no credit spend.
- Your key stays yours; the connector doesn’t store it elsewhere.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect OpenAI
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your OpenAI account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does this spend my OpenAI credits?
