LiveThe Moonraker connector for Muse
Your 3D printer, bossed around by chat.
The Moonraker connector controls Klipper-based 3D printers: check print status and temperatures, browse gcode files, start, pause, or cancel prints, and hit emergency stop. Your printer, supervised from anywhere on your network.
Print commands confirm first. A start or cancel is a physical-world action — Muse shows what it plans to do and waits.
What Muse can do with Moonraker
- Monitor print progress, temperatures, and status
- Start, pause, and cancel prints with confirmation
- Browse and manage gcode files
- Emergency stop for runaway prints
Try asking
- “How’s the print going?”
- “Pause the print — I hear clicking.”
- “What’s the hotend temperature right now?”
Safety notes
- Print start, pause, and cancel commands require confirmation.
- Emergency stop is available instantly; use it if a print fails dangerously.
- Local-network only, your printer isn’t exposed to the internet by this connector.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Moonraker
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Moonraker account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Which printers work with Moonraker?
Klipper-based printers running Moonraker. It’s the Klipper-native API, separate from OctoPrint.
Do I need OctoPrint too?
No. Moonraker is the control layer for Klipper printers. OctoPrint is a different (though compatible) ecosystem.
