LiveThe Hugging Face connector for Muse
The model hub, searchable by conversation.
The Hugging Face connector lets Muse search the model hub the way you’d ask a colleague: best open-weights embedding model right now, most downloaded image model this month, which license a model ships under.
It’s read-only, so it’s pure research fuel — model cards, download counts, and task filters, without touching your account’s writes.
What Muse can do with Hugging Face
- Search models by task, license, language, and popularity
- Read model cards, stats, and download trends
- Verify your Hugging Face account and token status
- Compare models side by side for a given job
Try asking
- “Find the best open-weights embedding models available now.”
- “What’s the most downloaded text-to-image model this month?”
- “Is my Hugging Face token still valid?”
Safety notes
- Read-only — it can’t download models or modify your account.
- Model recommendations are informational; evaluate licenses before shipping.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Hugging Face
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Hugging Face account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Can Muse download models for me?
No, the connector covers search and metadata. Downloads happen through your own tooling.
Do I need a Hugging Face account?
Search works without one. Account verification is there if you want Muse to confirm your token and access.
