LiveThe Homey connector for Muse
Homey Pro, minus the app-tapping.
The Homey connector puts your Homey Pro in conversation: lights, outlets, dimmers, color, thermostats, locks, blinds, and your Flows. Ask what’s on, change the mood, or fire a Flow without opening the app.
Anything that moves real hardware asks first. Locks and thermostats especially — Muse shows the exact action and waits for your word.
What Muse can do with Homey
- Read live device states across your Homey
- Dim lights and set colors by room or device
- Control thermostats, locks, and blinds with confirmation
- Trigger your saved Flows on demand
Try asking
- “Dim the living room lights to 30 percent.”
- “Lock the front door.”
- “Run the goodnight flow.”
Safety notes
- Hardware writes are confirmation-gated, especially locks.
- Muse reads state freely but never changes device settings silently.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Homey
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Homey account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Does it work with Homey Pro and Homey Cloud?
It targets Homey Pro (local) and Homey cloud accounts through the Homey Web API — whichever your setup uses.
Can Muse unlock my front door?
Lock and unlock commands are possible but always confirmation-gated. Muse will never operate a lock without your explicit approval.
