LiveThe HeyGen connector for Muse
Talking-head video from a script, no camera needed.
The HeyGen connector turns scripts into presenter-led video. Describe what you want — a product explainer, a training clip, a multi-scene announcement — and Muse drives HeyGen’s prompt-to-video pipeline, from avatar and voice selection to render.
Renders run asynchronously, so Muse submits the job and checks back on status. You get a finished video without babysitting a render queue.
What Muse can do with HeyGen
- Generate talking-head video from a text script
- Build multi-scene avatar videos
- Browse available avatars and voices
- Poll render status until the video is ready
Try asking
- “Turn this script into a 60-second presenter video.”
- “Make a product explainer with a professional-sounding avatar.”
- “Is my training video done rendering yet?”
Safety notes
- Video renders consume your HeyGen credits, confirm before generating.
- Only use avatars and voices you have the rights to.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect HeyGen
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your HeyGen account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
How long does a HeyGen render take?
It varies with length and complexity, usually minutes, not seconds. Muse submits the job and polls the status, then tells you when it’s done.
Can I use my own face and voice as the avatar?
HeyGen supports custom avatars with proper consent and setup. Muse can work with whatever avatars exist on your HeyGen account.
