The DeepSeek connector for Muse

Chat with DeepSeek models from inside Muse.

The DeepSeek connector lets you chat with DeepSeek models without leaving Muse. Useful when you want a second model’s take — a different reasoning style on a hard problem, or a cheap pass over a long document.

Think of it as a hotline to another lab’s models: same conversation, different brain, no tab-switching.

Safety notes

  • Prompts you send go to DeepSeek’s API — don’t include secrets or sensitive data.
  • Usage consumes your DeepSeek API arrangement.
  • This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.

How to connect DeepSeek

Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your DeepSeek account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.

Questions

Why would I ask Muse to ask another AI?

Different models have different strengths. A second opinion catches blind spots, especially useful for code review and tricky reasoning.

Does my data stay private?

What you send goes to DeepSeek under their terms. Keep credentials, PII, and confidential material out of cross-model prompts.
