How to Download Muse: Get the App on iPhone, Android, Web, and WhatsApp

Meta’s personal agent is free to download in the US and Canada. This guide covers every way in, the eligibility rules that stop people at sign-in, and the one step to take in your first 48 hours.

Muse launched on September 8, 2026, and it lives in more places than most AI apps. You can download it on your phone, open it in a browser, use the Mac app, or reach it inside WhatsApp. Which door you use matters less than two things people keep getting wrong: Muse checks your account’s region at sign-in, and the most valuable freebie in the app expires 48 hours after you join.

Where to Download Muse

On iPhone, the app is listed in the App Store as “Muse from Meta,” sold by Meta Platforms, Inc. On Android, it is in Google Play under the same name. If you would rather not install anything, the web app runs at muse.ai, and Meta has also shipped a Mac app with computer use. Muse also works inside WhatsApp, so once you have an account you can message your agent from the app you already use to message everyone else.

One caution on the app stores: the listing only appears in supported countries. Searching from the UK, the EU, or Australia returns nothing, which is the first sign the service has not launched there. Who Can Sign Up

Muse is available in the United States and Canada, and it is limited to adults 18 and over. Canada arrived ten days after the US launch; Meta has named no date for any other country.

The region check happens at sign-in and is tied to your account, not just your connection. That is why the workarounds circulating on Reddit mostly fail: a VPN changes where your traffic appears to come from, but posters who tried VPNs, location spoofing, and fresh US App Store accounts report still landing on the “isn’t available in your country or region yet” screen. Building an account on false details is a bad foundation for a service that will hold your email, calendar, and payment methods, and access granted that way can disappear without notice.

If you are in the US or Canada, sign-up runs through your normal Meta account. There is no separate waitlist inside the supported regions: download, sign in, and you are in.

Do This in Your First 48 Hours

Redeem an invite code. A code shared by an existing user is worth 1 billion Muse tokens to you and 1 billion to the person who shared it, but only if you redeem it in Settings within 48 hours of joining. What It Costs

Nothing to start. The free tier includes a weekly allowance of 100 million tokens, which covers ordinary use. Paid plans raise the ceiling: Power costs $20 a month for a reported 500 million tokens a week, and Maximum costs $100 a month for a reported 3 billion a week.
