LiveThe Telegram connector for Muse
Your Telegram bot, driven by conversation.
The Telegram connector lets Muse send messages and read updates through your own Telegram bot. Broadcast updates, answer incoming messages, or run a notification pipeline — all from chat.
Builders use it as the messaging layer for their agents: Muse drafts the message, you approve it, and the bot delivers it to the right chat or channel.
What Muse can do with Telegram
- Send messages through your Telegram bot to chats and channels
- Read incoming updates and messages to the bot
- Broadcast announcements to subscribed audiences
- Build notification flows triggered by your requests
Try asking
- “Send the launch announcement to our Telegram channel.”
- “What messages has the bot received today?”
- “Reply to the support question in the group chat with the draft I approve.”
Safety notes
- Outgoing messages are approval-gated — Muse shows the text and destination first.
- Your bot token is sensitive; keep it out of shared chats and logs.
- This is a community-built connector. Review its permissions before connecting.
How to connect Telegram
Open the Muse app, go to settings, and find connectors. Link your Telegram account with the standard sign-in — Muse never sees your password. Once linked, the connector is available across your conversations. You can scope it to read-only or disconnect it entirely at any time from the same screen.
Questions
Do I need to create a Telegram bot first?
Yes. Create one with BotFather, get the token, and connect it. The connector drives your bot; it doesn’t create one for you.
Can it read my personal Telegram messages?
No. It works through your bot, so it sees what the bot sees: messages sent to the bot and chats where the bot is a member.
