Meta's Muse AI agent lands on the iPad
Alexandr Wang announced on October 7 that Muse now has a native iPad app, extending the personal AI agent across Apple's lineup weeks after its iPhone and Mac…

Meta’s personal AI agent is getting more screen space. On Wednesday morning, Meta chief AI officer Alexandr Wang announced on X that the Muse iPad app is now available, writing: “the muse ipad app is out now!! check it out for all your tablet superintelligence needs :))”
Wang followed up minutes later with a closer look at the tablet interface in a second post, writing that “all that screen real estate” lets “your muse to really spread out.” The post includes marketing images of the app: tablet mockups showing Muse chat panels and sidebars under the headline “Your personal agent that takes things off your plate.” Wang credited Ivan Bruel and the Muse team with the build.
The iPad app arrives about a month after Muse’s September 8 debut on iPhone, Android, and the web, and weeks after Meta shipped a Mac version in mid-September. With the tablet covered, Muse now runs natively across Apple’s three main device categories.
A bigger canvas for an agent
Muse completes multi-step tasks — shopping, booking travel, managing calendars — through its own secure virtual machine, and the marketing images Wang shared show that layout, with conversation on one side and the agent’s working panels on the other.
The launch continues a fast distribution cadence. Since the September 8 launch, Muse has topped free-app charts in the United States and Canada. Meta followed with Muse for Small Business on September 29, the open-source Muse Gadgets hardware SDK on October 2, and now a native tablet app — four new surfaces or editions in five weeks.
No independent press coverage of the iPad app had surfaced as of Wednesday morning; Wang’s announcement on X stands as the launch notice so far, and his posts did not mention pricing or download specifics. No Windows app has been announced, so desktop users outside the Mac app still reach Muse through the browser at muse.ai.
